Blurry city lights at night

NEW YORK, May 9, 2023RethinkFirst, the leading software and solutions provider in behavioral health, today announced that it has been selected as winner of the “Healthcare Analytics Innovation Award” in the 8th annual MedTech Breakthrough Awards program conducted by MedTech Breakthrough, an independent market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global health and medical technology market.

This is the second year in a row that RethinkFirst has been named in the program, winning the “Best Healthcare Big Data Solution” in 2023. RethinkFirst’s suite of solutions combines evidence-based practices and clinical expertise with data analytics and technology to broaden access to and improve the outcomes of behavioral healthcare. The solutions are designed to support a range of individuals—including K-12 students and educators, working parents, caregivers, clinicians, payors, and families of neurodiverse individuals—with e-learning and clinical support resources.

“Historically, lack of data in autism care has left health plans and payors in the dark, resulting in inefficient approaches to care with unpredictable patient outcomes and treatment costs” said Daniel Etra, RethinkFirst Co-founder and CEO. “By combining clinical expertise with innovative solutions, we are breaking down barriers and increasing access to quality and equitable resources and services. This recognition underscores our commitment to leveraging data analytics and technology to drive better outcomes in behavioral healthcare.”

RethinkFirst’s RethinkFutures AI platform and predictive analytics supports payors in making sure their members and families receive individualized, appropriate, whole-person autism care by incorporating a care management model. RethinkFutures AI algorithm is powered by the industry’s largest–published dataset of autism outcomes from a Rethink sister solution, RethinkBH. The dataset includes: 300+ thousand individual ABA therapy cases, 95+ million ABA session hours, and 650+ million clinical progress datapoints. The AI model accounts for 99% of the variance in predicting mastered goals, which is 48% higher than the closest published model.
